Fabric: this fabulous piece of light weight fabric was obviously rescued from a skirt as that's what it was manufactured for. It's a vertical print - a border print - with repeating landscape images and kitchen/food items. Very European. The first two photos show the print as it would be sewn into a skirt - top to bottom, not side-to-side.
Hand: tightly woven, can hold its own weight
Fibre: burn test indicates cotton
Era: 1950s
Condition: used, washed, one selvedge only
Size: we are selling this fabric by the uncut half meter measuring 70cm wide x 50cm long
Weight: 50g per 1/2m
