Fabric: magnificent and very dramatic - a bright warm floral on a jet black blase that is only 74cm wide selvedge to selvedge. This would have cost a small fortune back in the day.
Hand/Weight: light weight, tightly woven, still crisp, can hold its own weight, very light polish.
Fibre: cotton
Era: 1930s
Condition: one selvedge has been sewn and unpicked but it shows no other signs of use bar wrinkles from storage.
