SINGLE FAT QUARTER: Vintage Fabric Almost Antique 1930s Light Dress Cotton Dramatic Floral on Black 37cm x 50cm

Fabric: magnificent and very dramatic - a bright warm floral on a jet black blase. The original length this piece was removed from is only 74cm wide selvedge to selvedge. This would have cost a small fortune back in the day. Please note some photos are of a longer piece of the same fabric.
Hand/Weight: light weight, tightly woven, still crisp, can hold its own weight, very light polish.
Fibre: cotton 
Era: 1930s
Condition: one selvedge has been sewn and unpicked but it shows no other signs of use bar wrinkles from storage.
Size: this piece is a quarter of the original metre - it is 37cm wide x 50cm long.
