Fabric: this fabric was manufactured in the 1970s to replicate much more expensive double shot silk and was used for all things decorator - drapery, soft furnishings etc. It was one of those fabrics that was meant to be used in a 'matchy matchy' room. The fabric itself is a heavier light weight blend - from memory a rayon/nylon blend and has a gold, orange and brown colourway. It has a lovely shine and looks different depending on the light source.
Condition: unused, unwashed.
Width: The fabric is 120cm wide selvedge to selvedge.
Purchase size: We are selling this fabric by the uncut fat quarter measuring 60cm wide x 50cm long.
Weight per purchase size: 45g
