1950s architectural building facades Chelsea Pierrot drapery cotton FQ+


Fabric: This is a striking medium weight - drapery weight - cotton manufactured by Pierrot in the 50s. It is called Chelsea - perhaps it is the facade of some buildings in Chelsea, London? Beautiful greens and golds on an off-white base.
Condition: Unused, unwashed. As with other fabrics from this estate sale, this is dusty and these pieces have some small marks - it will need a wash. These drapery fabrics were made for boiling, so washing them on super hot works very well, indeed. This piece is also less than half width of the original fabric - it had been cut before we purchased it.
Width: The fabric is 55cm wide selvedge to edge.
