Fabric/Fibre: these utilitarian fabrics are getting much harder to find as they were usually used for day-to-day wear rather than kept for something special. It’s a classic stripe on a light weight densely woven crispy cotton.
Era: 50s or 60s
Condition: unused, unwashed, mild storage smell, age spots every now and then and some weaving slubs (see photos for an example of these).
Width: The fabric is 88cm wide selvedge to selvedge
