Fabric/Fibre: this fabric was manufactured for dress overlays - please see the second last photo to see how sheer it is. It is a lightweight cotton in a dark periwinkle/lavender and it has a textured white stripe. I’ve put a colour swatch in the photos to show the colour accurately.
Era: 50s or 60s
Condition: unused, unwashed, dusty along the selvedges
Width: The fabric is 86cm wide selvedge to selvedge
